My name is Bob Lancaster.
I was given my first 35mm camera upon high school graduation, many many years ago.
My curiosity and desire to see more led me into taking photos of our natural world.
I have visited and photographed 34 of the 63 national parks.
Hopefully, we will be visiting several more in the future.
I received both a BS and MS in Science Education, and taught science both at the high school level and at the junior college level for eleven years.
I fell in love with the power of computers, and left teaching for the business world.
I started and ran a successful computer consulting business for nearly 30 years
before recently retiring.
In early 2003, I co-founded the Linn Area Photo Club serving both as it's president
and vice-president. At one time, LAPC was the largest camera club in Iowa.
I shoot exclusively with Canon cameras and lens.
Currently, my main body is the Canon 5D Mark IV.
An older Canon 80D body was recently replaced with the EOS R7 mirrorless body.
Many of the wildlife images below were taken with a Canon 100-400 lens.

This is my website for displaying a small fraction of my images.
If interested in purchasing a print, please send me a message via the contact page.
(include your name, shipping address, email address and phone number)
I will then contact you to determine which image, what size and provide you with pricing.
All copyrights and watermarks will be removed from all images purchased.

WildflowersPhotography.com was my previous photography website.
Parts of it were incorporated into this one.
I look forward to your comments.
