Miscellaneous images from 2002

I purchased my first digital camera in 2002 when my film camera failed to survive Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve. I had recently discovered LCC Wickiup Hill Nature Learning Center and spent most of my free time hiking and photographing the area with the intent to learn how to use my new Canon D60 digital camera. By the end of summer, I felted that I had learned enough of this new technology, that at my daughter's wedding, I asked the photographer if I could grab a few images immediately after he took his professional images. He agreed, and ask me to send him copies of the digital images so he could compare the print quality to his film prints. I saw him at another wedding a few months later, and he had converted 100% to digital imaging for his wedding photography business.
